ENT appointment

This morning we headed out early to go see Dr. Ears.

We arrived 20 minutes ahead of schedule and got lucky and we were able to go right back and see the Dr.  He asked Jonathon how he was doing and if I had any concerns.  Nope, no concerns about his ears.

Then Dr. Ears looked into Jonathon's ears and found both tubes.  Yep, they are still there.  Asked to look into his throat.  No, this is not happening.  When we go see Dr. Pediatrician in the winter he always asks that questions and of course does it AND Jonathon does not like it.  So Dr. Ears passed.

Good report.  Nice visit.  See you in 6 months.  We were finished and back outside within 20 minutes.

I did pick up a swim band though.  Jonathon is going to continue to swim all winter with his lessons and I have been having a problem with the swim plugs popping out once in awhile.  I purchased the swim band thinking this will be really cool.  Ummm when I got Jonathon home and tried to show Kenny, he would not even put it on.  I know it's because it's new and he doesn't understand that its not going to hurt him.  Hopefully when we go see Miss Maggie for his next lesson he will cooperate and wear it for me.  Fingers crossed.

I am so glad that I found Dr. Ears.  I am so glad and thankful that Jonathon is doing so well with his tubes and his speech.

Accomplished

a lot today!  Jonathon had an ENT check up today at 2p.m.  We surprised Kenny and picked him up from school early to go with us.  (My special treat for getting A's on his exams last week).  Very proud of Kenny!!

It takes me about 45 minutes to get to the ENT office.  We actually arrived 20 minutes early.  By the time we signed in, used the restroom we were already being called back.  We were not even in the room for 2 minutes when Dr. ENT came in to see us.  He asked us how we were doing and then looked in Jonathon's ears and mouth.  Tubes are still there.  It has been 12 months now since Jonathon got them ~ they can fall out anywhere from 6-18 months.  And we said our good byes....Quick and fast....Got our coats on and back out to the van we went.  I looked at my clock ~ it was 2p.m.  I then told Kenny "It pays to be early"

Off we went down the road to our next appointment ~ Miss Barb who Jonathon gets his glasses from.  When Jonathon got his new glasses before Christmas they kept falling off of his face and they were making his ears stick out so we went back for a consultation.  And decided to order a new pair of frames ~ the first initial pair Miss Barb cut the stems off so they were not so long, this is why they kept falling off of his face.  So we finally got the phone call to pick up his new pair.  And so far they are staying up on his face, so I hope we have corrected this problem.

After we finished with Miss Barb we had to head on down the road to Secretary of State to renew plates on Andrew's truck and my van.  Not easy having 2 birthdays in February.  Cost me $175.00 for both. OUCH, but it had to be done.  Jonathon for some reason does not enjoy sitting at S O S and usually lets me know it.  So today I brought my camera along.

When we picked our number it read 31 and the number being called was 20....so I tried looking for some M & M's to keep Jonathon occupied for a few minutes, but of course they were not in my purse, they were in the van in the backpack.

 So he kept himself occupied for a couple of seconds with Kenny's phone case ~ until he threw it on the floor and big brother took it away.

 Finally our number was called and we hurried up to the front ~ conducted our business and got the heck out of there!!

We made a couple more stops on the way home and finally arrived home at 5p.m.

Ate dinner ~ got into our comfy clothes ~ and got some toys out.....

 Tomorrow is the big day.......

 

ENT Recheck

was yesterday at 5p.m.  Jonathon had another tympanogram done and yes there is still fluid in his left ear and he has pressure in his right ear.


Dr. ENT approached us with "I think we need to discuss surgery" and before he could even get all of that out I interrupted with " Yes we need to just do the surgery, this isn't helping him."  It was really simple, we were all on the same page.


I tried to think of questions to ask him and of course thought of some after I got home.  But that always happens.  I am not too upset about the upcoming surgery.  I really think this will help Jonathon with his speech.  We have been going to ENT appts since last January and we are both finished.


Surgery will be after the holidays, someone is supposed to call me this week and schedule a day.  Surgery is supposed to take about 10 minutes and we get to go home the same day.  The longest procedure is going to be driving to the hospital and getting ready for surgery.(that part I won't like)


We will be going to Beaumont Troy Hospital. 
When I know more I will update everyone.

ENT Results

Once again we are waiting another 6 weeks for a recheck on Jonathon's ears.  This time he has no fluid in the right ear and some fluid in the left ear.


I am beginning to get frustrated again too.  I don't want to put Jonathon through another surgery if he doesn't need it.  I don't want to put off another surgery if it's the best solution for Jonathon.


I have been going to ENT appointments for almost 1 year now.  This all started last January.


Jonathon has only had 1 ear infection.  Jonathon has passed 3 booth hearing tests.  And this is the first year that we have made it through August, September and October without a sinus infection.  The fluid goes away and then comes back.  At first I thought this was a good thing, but after our appointment Monday night I am beginning to question my judgement.  I think it's time to just let him have the surgery.


Now that Jonathon is older and beginning to talk quite well I do not want to hold him back and I know when there is fluid everything is muffled.  I do not know from experience, I have never had this problem.


We go back in December, if there is fluid still we will be discussing surgery.


So now I am asking for information.  Instead of me searching the web I know one friend(Stephanie and Aiden)www.aisforaiden.com who is always full of good information and knowledge.  If you have any please email me!

ENT Appointment

Good news is that Jonathon passed his hearing test!  Bad news is that now he has fluid in both ears!  Good news the sweet oil seems to be working better than the peroxide was.


Surgery was discussed with me today.  I discussed my opinion and the Dr. ENT discussed his opinion.  Together we decided to wait 6 more weeks.  Then we will go back for a recheck.  If the fluid is still in both ears, then we will discuss MORE about surgery.  Nothing else we can do at this time.


The reason we are waiting is because Jonathon's fluid comes and goes.  Usually gone more than here.  We(us and Dr. ENT) do not want to put Jonathon through surgery if we do not have too.  At this point I am not worried.

Update on what's new with us.....

I guess I have lost days again on blogging. I get so busy with all 3 boys that I just don't find the time to even turn on my computer and we have been very busy these last few days.

On Sunday August 23rd we traveled out to the Detroit Zoo. We figured out half way through that next year we will do some things differently. At the beginning of the zoo there is mostly inside animals(reptiles, butterflies, birds)etc.

We love to feed the giraffe(which are at the other end)and feeding time is 1p.m. Last year AND this year we literally had to run to get to the feeding on time.....plus eat OUR lunch. When we noticed that if we take the train when we first arrive and ride to the back of the park we can take our time seeing ALL the big outside animals(tiger,lion,zebra)etc. and be there for the morning feeding of the giraffe AND Jonathon won't be sleeping and miss some of the big animals(yes he took a nap on schedule and missed lots).

It started to mist(rain)around 1:30p.m. and continued off and on for the remainder of our visit. I was pretty bummed out~the animals went in AND it wasn't supposed to rain at all. I am very glad that I took the stroller this year instead of the wagon. Jonathon was able to nap comfortably AND I was able to cover him from the rain.

Kenny got to go in the dinosaur simulator with Randy, Andrew and Gilbert.(Jonathon and I stayed out). Kenny said it was very cool and really enjoyed the ride. I was told that I would never make it......(ok, no dinosaur simulator for me...). Further through the zoo Kenny did some one on one time with Dad(Gilbert). They walked thru Dinotopia(dinosaur exhibit). Was told that it was interesting too. Maybe next year we will take Jonathon through that one.(noise issue this year).

Monday evening Jonathon had an ENT appt.(check up). Alot of wax build up in his ears~we do peroxide drops once per month~no, not anymore, Dr. ENT thinks it is making his ears worse and drying them out really bad~we need to pick up sweet oil, 1-2 drops per ear once per week until our next visit. Tympanogram was taken~Right ear:Type A -Normal(Hooray!!) Left ear: Type B -Flat(Bummer!) Difficulty obtaining a hermetic seal bilaterally (L-R). SOOO Dr. ENT thinks that there could be some fluid. We go back in 6 weeks for a recheck. He is not too concerned just yet. I also asked him about Jonathon's noise issue~it was terrrible at the zoo. He informed me that it's not b/c of him having Down Syndrome, it's not an ear problem, some children just have noise issues.....Ok. Still makes me wonder. Just certain noises really bother him. I helped him out though(different post to come).

And I took my boys out to eat dinner at Olive Garden. Expensive? Yes. Did I NEED to go to Olive Garden? No. Did I WANT to go to Olive Garden? Yes. It was my dinner to my son who will be starting highschool in 2 weeks. It was my I love you for all you do and want you to have a great first year in highschool. It was my I am very proud of you and know you will do just fine. DINNER! (and of course Jonathon loves spaghetti too)

Tuesday - Took the boys school shopping. Left at 9:30a.m. and got back home at 4p.m. Terrible terrible shopping day. Kenny is ridiculous this year(no, don't like that)ALL DAY Long! I bought him one pair of jeans on sale for 16.99 and one tshirt on sale for 7.99. 1 pair of gym shorts for 6.00. Done ~ that's it ALL DAY LONG!!!!! I practically went to every store in the mall. And on this trip Jonathon threw his shoe out of the stroller, I did not notice til it was too late.....We backed tracked,we checked lost and found, we asked passers by......SANDAL is gone!!!!! Good thing summer is almost over. I guess I did get my $15.00 worth out of them.

Wednesday - seen Jc Penny was having a huge sale and it was on the $16.99 jeans I just bought Kenny, plus I had a 15% off discount for filling out survery. Decided I would go back and get" picky" Kenny more jeans that he does like.

First we had to run to Richmond ~ I sold my high chair on Craigslist and needed to meet up with lady who was buying it.(Hooray!!!) Then we ran to Krogers really quick to get a few items. Then I went to Kmart real quick ~ I have officially started Christmas shopping! I cannot believe I just said that, but it's true. I put some stuff in layaway. Then off to the mall AGAIN(crazzzzzy....)Go to JC Penny, get the jeans for Kenny and Andrew also got 2 pair. Soooo for 4 pairs of jeans I paid 64.00. Now these jeans were normally 36.00 per pair so I say thats a deal and my 2 oldest boys are done. I just have to get them gym bags for their clothes. Jonathon has been done since June. He was easy. one garage sale ~27 items for $27.00. All like brand new and name brand too.

OOOOHHHH , by the way, I was sooo stressed about going back to the mall that after JC Penny I walked down to younkers and Sears really quick to see if they had rain coats for Jonathon or winter coats. Of course nothing. So we get ready to leave the mall and Andrew says" WHERE ARE THE JEANS"!!!!!!!?????? OMG! I left them at JC Penny........ Thank Goodness I had my receipt and they remembered me AND I didn't drive all the way home first.

Which brings me to today! Cleaning, laundry washing and drying. Playing with Jonathon, movie watching with Jonathon, catching up on my computer, paperwork and RELAXING!!!!

ENT Appointment

Great doctor ~ Great bedside manner ~ Great results ~

Typanogram Reading ~ Type A ~ Normal

We go back in August for a recheck. Jonathon will continue to take 1/2 tsp of over the counter Claritin daily. He will receive Little Noses Saline Drops in the morning and at nightime before bed. Hopefully this will help out with his allergies and keep him from getting another sinus infection.

Needless to say we were very pleased with new Dr. ENT. He did great with Jonathon. Jonathon LIKED him and that is what matters most.

I am really glad that I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I sit and wonder "what if" The previous Dr. ENT did not give us any advice. Pretty much said " If you want surgery I will do it" "If you want to wait I will wait" What if I had scheduled a surgery that Jonathon did not need? Would the previous Dr. ENT see that the fluid was gone and not do the surgery? Would he just put the tubes in anyway? I thank God that I did not do that and that my mommy gut said Find another Dr.

Pediatric or Not

Does it really matter? Does Jonathon need a pediatric ENT or does Jonathon just need a good ENT?

I am really overwhelmed right now! I just don't know what to do.... I thought(THOUGHT)my ENT problems were solved. They are not.....I was talking to my sister n law last night about her son. Come to find out he seen the exact same ENT as Jonathon has seen.(The one I despise). AND he seen the other ENT(the one we have a scheduled appt. with on 5/28) Between the both of these 2 doctors no one would take her serious and her sons ears were not closing(the holes from the tubes). He ended up with hearing loss and bone deteriation. She found another ENT and he literally saved her son. Corrected the problem and now her son can hear perfect. Then she tells me to call the other sister n law, because she was at that same office and was not pleased either.

This morning I called my other sister n law who has triplets. Confirmed she saw ENT at the same office. She did not like his bedside manner and she was asking him questions about her child and he just walked out of the room saying they were finished when she was still questioning him. AND she sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before being seen and there wasn't any other patients around..... The ENT that she seen is the ENT we are scheduled to see on 5/28. She explained to me that just because she wasn't happy that I could give the man a chance. Everyones opinion is different. Yes I understand this, but I have 2 family members telling me they had negative experiences with these pediatric ENT's. No, No Thank you, I don't have time for all of that. I trust them 100% on their opinions and I already don't like the one.

So my sister n law with the triplets took 2 of her children to a ENT that is not pediatric. He did surgeries on both and they are doing great. He didn't play games with her. He put the one on an antibiotic for limited time and it didn't work so he said I believe it's time. And with the second one, when he went he immediately said he needs surgery. So she had good experiences with this doctor.

Now my other godchild who is turning 20 this year went to a local ENT when he was around 5 and had his tonsils out. He has been healthy ever since.

This same local ENT corrected my nephews problem(bone deteriation, and holes in ears) He has been doing great ever since. His surgery was last winter.

My father n law just went to this same ENT to have surgery to correct breathing problem. About 2 months ago. And is doing great.

My brother n law also seen this local ENT years ago. He corrected a nose/breathing problem after a major car accident. Has been fine ever since.

This local ENT is not pediatric. Does he take young children? I don't know. Does he accept our insurance? I don't know. Do I want Jonathon to try him? He is not pediatric. Does it really matter? I DON'T KNOW

Or do I want to go see the ENT(that is also not pediatric) that two of the triplets go see?

Or do I search for another pediatric ENT?????????

I JUST DON'T KNOW.........



An update after some real searching.

I have spent today researching ENT's. I have found a new pediatric ENT that takes our insurance and is taking new patients.

We had an appointment scheduled for the end of June, but when I explained my concerns and what has been going on with the previous ENT she quickly changed our appointment to June 1st at 4:30p.m.

What a relief! I have had a rough couple of days.

I appreciate all the advice my 2 sister n laws gave to me: Thank you to Dawn and Wanda. And also Thank you to Stephanie and Lacey.

I won't say the Dr. ENT's name on here, but he is on Hall Road and he is out of Beaumont Troy Hospital.(for family and friends following us locally)


And I am sure my sis will be happy that I am finally going to see a Beaumont Doctor!!!

Wonder Mommy to the Rescue

Man, I sooo love it when I am right!

The referral department called me back today about Jonathon's ENT. I quickly explained to her what has been happening with Dr. ENT and my concerns.

She then told me how I am not the first parent to call and complain about Dr. ENT. How his favorite words are nose spray and ear drops. How he is not kid friendly. How he acts like he has no concern at all for the patient or parents.

She then told me the name of the Dr. ENT that her son saw. And that there have been many good reviews on this other Dr. ENT and her herself has been very happy with him. He did her sons surgery and her son has been healthy ever since.

So this other Dr. works out of the same office, but they work different days. I don't have to worry about running into the man that I NEVER want to see again....

Our new appointment is scheduled for May 28th at 12p.m. with new Dr. ENT. for our second opinion.

Oh by the way I had already stopped giving Jonathon the nose spray. My own thinking was what good was the stuff if it was supposed to help him and make him better AND he still ended up with another sinus infection!!!!

Alot to think about

Back in January 09 Jonathon had his first hearing test and he failed.


He passed in the booth 100%. . (booth testing- wide range of things can be done in the booth depending on the age and cooperation of the child. for our kids at a young age behavioral testing as described above is the best thing, it can give some side (ear) specific information but does really give you an idea on the degree of hearing loss or if it is a conductive or nerve loss. As a child gets older the booth is used with headphones and a bone stimulator (buzzing thing placed behind the ear). this is the best. it gives specific information on specific frequencies, and the type of hearing loss as well as the degree of hearing loss. this information is crtitical for programming a hearing aid ( if you have to go that route))


but with the tympanogram he failed. Came back that he has fluid in his right ear.

(tympanogram- this is not actually a hearing test but is done by the audiologist. a puff of air is applied into the ear canal under seal, the pressure tracing monitors how well the ear drum moves and helps gives a an idea of what is going on in the middle ear space (ie fluid build up, negative pressure) downs kids are prone to these things because of a higher rate of eustachian tube dysfunction ( tube that runs from the throat to the middle ear) these kids can be hard to test though because of congenitally narrow ear canals. there are some things that can be done with tympanograms in response to an auditory stimuli where you look at how the middle ear muscles and bones pull on the ear drum, but that is really a fine point and not looked at that often)


So we went to the pediatrician and it was confirmed that he had fluid in his right ear. From Dec 6th thru Dec 29th he was pretty sick and we were hoping it was just from that. So he was put on Clairitin for 30 days , then we would go for a recheck and then another hearing test and hopefully he would pass.

So after 30 days we went back to Dr. Pediatrician and had a recheck on his ears. Dr. Pediatrician still seen fluid. And Jonathon had his first ear infection. Instead of going back to local audiologist for another test we were scheduled to see an ENT.

When we finally got in to see the ENT, Jonathon was over his ear infection, but had another sinus infection(4th one since Sept 08). Dr. ENT looked him over and sent us for a tympanogram test. The tympanogram showed fluid in both ears. Good thing was that it was a better result than the one taken in January. So the test showed Jonathon was getting better. Dr. ENT decided that we would 2 months and retest. In the meantime he put Jonathon on fluticasone(nose spray)once a day. Hopefully this would help with the sinus infections.

As of March 16th I had Jonathon healthy once again. He was doing great and then last week Wednesday I starting noticing a difference in him. His breathing seemed different. I just monitored him. By Thursday night he was snoring again and when he woke up Friday morning he had a snotty nose. I sucked him out hoping it was allergies. No such luck. It was yellow and he seemed congested.

Made a call in to see Dr. Pediatrician. And I was correct. Dr. Pediatrician confirmed sinus infection and put Jonathon on amoxicillin. Saturday late afternoon Jonathon started coughing some. (When he starts coughing we are to get an appointment with Dr. Pediatrician to make sure he is not wheezing)I didn't want to take Jonathon to the E.R. so we just monitored him.

On Monday morning I had to take both big brothers to Dr. Pediatrician.(complaints of sore throat/strept). Found out that neither one had strept. They could return to school. I had Dr. Pediatrician take a quick listen to Jonathon since we were there.
Uh Oh! He was wheezing!!!(I of course felt horrible). He was immediately prescribed Albuterol for his nebulizer. He is back on his nebulizer 3x day for 5 days to help the wheezing.

Monday afternoon Jonathon had a recheck appointment with Dr. ENT. Gilbert was supposed to meet us there, but he called me at lunchtime to say that he was sick. I told him to forget it and just stay at work and go home, that I would take Andrew with me instead. So that is what I did.

We arrived early and actually got taken right back. Dr. ENT came right in. I explained what has been going on lately with Jonathon.(sinus infection again and back on albuterol for wheezing). He took a look at him and said that he had some wax build up. Needed to be cleaned up. Personal opinion~not very kid friendly at all. Made Jonathon scream AND I mean scream his head off. Would not take time with him at all. Actually poked his little ear and made him bleed. I was soooo glad when that was over, and I was mad. Dr. Pediatrician cleans Jonathon's ears ALL the time AND has NEVER once made Jonathon cry. 1st mark against you Dr! Got that done. He then sent us down the hall to get another tympanogram done. Still fluid in his ears. It is getting better, but is not better.

Then we wait for Dr. ENT to come and get us.....

So this is what he tells me: He still has fluid in both ears. We could put tubes in his ears and while we are in there take his adnoids out. Not saying it will help with the sinus infections. But we could do it or we can wait a couple more months and see what happens...... Ok, now I am in a fog...."Are you saying that Jonathon needs tubes in his ears and you will take out his adnoids while you are in there? Yes says Dr. ENT. "You want me to answer you today if I want Jonathon to have this surgery, when my husband is not here?" No No Dr. ENT says, you can wait and let me know. Do you have any questions?

Yes I am concerned about the fluid in his ears. This started in January and is not getting better. Can this damage Jonathon's hearing? Dr. ENT says to me: Well it is not getting worse. It is not staying the same. It is improving some. So I don't see any reason why you can't wait 2 more months and see what happens or have the surgery now. But if he isn't better by July, then definitely he needs the surgery. By now I was really wishing I had brought another adult with me. I questioned him about my concerns with him having tubes put in(my godson had a horrible experience). He of course answered me, but not to my liking. So I made an appointment for July and they gave me all the paperwork to fill out for surgery if we decided to have the surgery now.

Of course Gilbert was sick last night so even though we discussed a little bit about it we didn't resolve anything. I am really at a loss and not sure which way to go. I really do not think we are going to see a major change over the next 2 months on the tympanogram. Do we make Jonathon suffer for 2 more months or do we just get the surgery done now?

In case you do not know, when you have fluid in your ear;it is like getting water in your ear and you shake your head or pull on your ear and it gets better. Well Jonathon is stuck like this since January.

I am beginning to think that maybe this is why he is not a full walker yet. Equilibruim is off. Which is not fair to him. I wish I could take the fluid and take all these sinus infections from him. Really really heartbreaking to see him sick all the time.(I HATE it)

Talked to my sis a little while ago and she told me to get a second opinion. She went with me to the first ENT appointment back in March. She too said that she did not care for the doctor then.

I do agree, I think I need a second opinion. I do know something has to be done. I just don't care for the way that Jonathon has been treated and he leaves me uneasy. I have seen many doctors since 2007 for Jonathon and this is the first one I have come across that I am just not Happy with. I think I will take my sisters advice and see if our insurance will cover a second opinion.

Our First ENT appointment

I am not liking this new time change at all! Jonathon was up at 6:30a.m. this morning, I was really hoping that he would now sleep in until 7:30a.m. But no such luck for me. Of course he didn't want to eat at 7a.m. as usual because that was really 6a.m. so we skipped breakfast until almost 8a.m.

We started our day out ahead of schedule and then it went down hill fast. I even had everything packed last night except the cheez pons-these I had to hurry and cut up while he was waiting in the van to go.

We were supposed to pick up my sis at 10a.m. as she is calling me at 10:20a.m. wondering if we got our signals mixed up? Nope just me running late as usual and now with a potty trainer, we are always behind. But we made up good time getting ourselves to the doctor on time-actually early!

Then there we sat......and sat....and sat.....We ate some cheez pons, then we drank some water, then we ate some more cheez pons, then we read Clifford the Dog book,then rip it out of Auntie's hands and throw it-he is Quick! Then we sat.....and sat.....and sat.....Okay now I am wondering why they didn't even call our name for our paperwork. So sis and I took turns using the restroom and then finally after 1 hour we were finally called back.

Dr. ENT was very nice. Jonathon also liked him alot and was very comfortable with him. He asked many more questions than I imagined, but I was prepared(good) My sis said"He just learned our whole life in about 5 minutes" Guess she was impressed? Jonathon got to pick a sucker for good behavior. Of course he has no clue what it is and didn't like the crinkly paper so we put it aside for now.

Sooo our results are: The tympanogram is still showing fluid and dr. ENT also seen some fluid. Jonathon is registering on the chart now though where before he didn't even register. Could be because of his sinus infection. We are going to go back in 2 months for a recheck. Continue the saline drops and added a new prescription~nose spray~Fluticasone-1spray into each nostril once daily. Seems how he has only had one ear infection he is not really worried yet about tubes. A little concerned that this is his 3rd sinus infection since September and this one was so bad. Could be that his adnoids need to be removed. We go back May 11.

I will take these results for now. I am glad that the tympanogram has changed and he is at least showing up on the chart now. I still don't like the fact that he still has fluid in his ears. I am not looking forward to starting nose spray tomorrow. I hope he doesnt have to have tubes put in. Will not stress over it for now.(at least try not too) I do like this doctor.

Stopped off at the restroom when we were through to see if Jonathon needed/would use the potty. He didn't like it and was scared. So I decided to turn him around and hold him up. This worked like a charm, he peed for me and lots. Great Job, my big big boy.

Afterwards we stopped at McDonalds to grab some lunch. Tried a fish sandwich with Jonathon. He ate a little , but didn't like it so we had our normal applesauce and country vegetable baby food. Sis and mommy had coupon for buy one Big Mac get one free.

Packed everyone back up in the van and headed off to Walmart. Right before we drove in, Jonathon fell asleep. Exhausted! He had been awake all day since 6:30a.m. Now its 2p.m.
So I got the big stroller out of back and layed down the seat. Put Jonathon in covered him up and then covered stroller with bigger blanket for darkness. We were in Walmart for over 1 hour and he slept the whole time. Much needed rest. He woke up on the way out and was in a very good mood.

Now it's after 3:30p.m. and when we pulled out onto main road we could see Daddy's truck up ahead. But he accidentally left his phone on counter this morning, so had no way of telling him to wait up. We tried to catch him, but too much traffic and we had to stop on the way home to get medicine. Oh well, maybe next time.

Stopped to get his prescription filled, would take them 30 minutes. Sis had to stop off and pay a bill and her house was right around the corner so we went to her house so Jonathon could use the potty.(I checked him at walmart on the way out and he was dry). Got to her house and hurried to the bathroom, set him up on the big toilet and he peed a little and little poop. GOOD BOY!!! I knew his tummy was still full, so I turned him around and held him up and told him to pee like a good boy. And he peed a whole bunch. He learned today how to pee standing up(well standing,mommy holding you up)But it worked. He just doesnt like the bigger toilets.

Finished up, got our medicine, dropped Auntie back off at her house. Said our goodbyes and headed for home. Busy busy day. We left at 10:10a.m. and pulled in at 5:15p.m.
